Sorry about that...I'm originally from North Carolina (where the car is at currently), but I'm currently stationed in Texas at Sheppard AFB. Since I technically live in both states (since my Home of Record is still in NC), I could register the car in either state, whichever one would be easier to do. As far as the lien idea, I think thats a damn good idea. So all I would have to do is write up a bill to the guy that sold me the car (for "storage" of the car for the past three months), and turn it into a lein service? I could notify the seller of this, and tell him to simply refuse payment of it. The guy wouldnt get in any trouble for this?
