Clarence,
I absolutely agree with your advice. I found it to be well thought out, well put, and definitely helpful. I'm not so sure about one thing, though. Why the distinction between car people and Halloween people? I may have misread you, but in the couple of meets I've attended, and for the years I've been (mostly silently) following this board, I've found that people own hearses for different reasons. Tolerance and acceptance of other peoples choices seems too distinguish this club from other car clubs. I own tons of Halloween props, store bought and self made, ranging from full size gallows, stocks, guilloteens to monsters, mummys and creatures. But, my hearse is by far the coolest. I just happen to love old cars, too. But, even if I wasn't a car enthusiast, what's wrong with caring for a hearse as a Halloween prop? And hell, if you can accessorize a hearse with your wardrobe, all the more power to you (I can hardly even find a belt to match my shoes). Again, I found your advise to be right on, maybe I'm just being picky.
