We just bought a 1972 Cadillac hearse to use in parades, etc. and I was going to add it onto my personal insurance policy (Progressive) in order to keep costs down. When I gave them the VIN number they said it came up as a commercial vehicle and I cannot insure it. To carry it on our commercial policy is $600 per year for liability only. I called a couple other places and they can only insure it if I move all my insurance there...
Does anyone have a hearse insured through Progressive? Anyone know a trick to get this done? Help.
