It is probably circa 1888, and too new to be Brigham Young's hearse. Of course, Brigham Young lived next to the Salt Lake Temple, and there was no need for a hearse to carry the coffin, due to the short distance involved.
: How much do similar hearses sell for? As far as value is concerned, I would say if you were real lucky, you might find such a hearse for $7,000.
Is it possible to buy a new(er) replica? The Justin Carriage work builds a replica that reminds me of the Hearse symbol of Phantom Coaches.Costs $12,500.
