I had a '72 Superior Crown with the straight bars. Didn't care much for them as I prefer curved landau bars. I got a new set from DNR that fit perfect. I elected to use my old buttons though, but they were in good shape and looked good with the new chromed bars.
For me, it was a simple upgrade that was economical at less than $200. I can email you a pic if you want, showing the curved bars on my former '72 Crown, so you can see how it might look on yours.
