I was very fortunate to find my 59 Superior in pretty restorable shape (running on about 4 cylinders, most of the parts still there and fenders flapping in the wind) close to home (so I didn't have to spend 2 grand to bring Mark's car to Michigan)and I bought it for less than I was willing to pay ($5,000.00). $20 or so thousand more to get it in presentable condition and you have another nice 59 Hearse in the world. And it isn't just 59's either, my buddy has a 50 Flxible Buick Combination that has at least 40 Grand rolled into it and he isn't done yet!! I saw a real solid 59 S&S that belongs to a fella in Cleveland just last weekend at a pro-car show in Mt. Morris, Michigan. He wants to sell it and is asking $12,000.00. It is very solid and a good candidate for restoration but does need COMPLETE restoration including paint and top. It seemed to run great and the interior was original and nice. It was a far better car than mine was when I got it and in my opinion worth the price. I don't know if it sold or not but anyone SERIOUSLY looking for a 59 Should consider it. I have the guys name if you need it.
