:I agree...."steer" clear of the unmentionable Cadillac King in San Fernando. There are one or two nice guys who work there, but their prices are usually double of any other decent parts dealer.

I highly recommend Bob Cooper's Vintage Auto Parts in Burbank. His number is (818) 567-4140.

He may take a little longer with some parts, but Bob is a really great guy who charges fair prices for good parts.

Keep checking ebay too, I've found stuff on there that I wouldn't have found otherwise.

Fiends- After a couple of weeks dogging around for steering box "parts" for the '71. I found a place in San Diego called Meridian Auto Parts. They specialize in steering componets. I got a completely remanufactured Cadillac series 75 commercial chassis steering box for $189 + your typical T&A with a $50 core charge. Cadillacs'yerazz (Chatsworth) wanted $249 for only a resealed (not re-built) unit. My personal favorite Cadillac "stick-up" joint that will go unmentioned but is in lovely San Fernando wanted a whopping $395 for the same part that I got for the $189! Just letting you know where NOT to go, OCJ
