The mailman came by the other day while I was looking under the hood. He looked in and told me there were pieces missing on my carb. I never would have known that, luckily the battery was stolen (yeah thats weird to say but true) so I've been unable to try starting it again...I am trying to find a replacement for it, as I was told that it would probably be cheaper to replace than to rebuild (but I dont really know for sure). I was looking at compatible ones, and really have only found edelbrocks...unfortunately, it says its only legal in 49 states and the one state it isnt legal in just happens to be california..great!

its a 66 cadillac, so if anyone has any ideas what carb I should go for, I would really appreciate your input! :)

It doesn't mater on a 66 you do't have to smog it. The standard carb is a Carter AFB The Edelbrock is a copy of it.

Oh ok. I would have to have it sent to another state though, it says they will not ship to a california address..
